Yay, I is back home! It was fun being up in Des Moines for a while, but I appreciate being home with the lover again. :3 I even got to come home to a cleaner house than I left! So, an update on the rest of my week away.

Yesterday, my mom & I went shopping. Between stores we stopped and ate at O'Charley's in West Des Moines. omg. I forgot how much I love that place! (Jake and I went there on our... 2nd(?) anniversary, and it was wonderful!) That's probably the only place I could just eat soup & be completely content with that. Such good cheesy potato soup! Then we went to Best Buy, Petco & Old Navy. It was a pretty nice afternoon.

Tonight we did raid, got Flame Leviathan downed, took a few stabs at Razorscale & the Deconstructor then they went & did Wintergrasp. Also, I made a post on wow_ladies  asking a few questions. It's here.

I'm gonna go snoop around for something to eat.

But only really badly when I has no internets. : / So yeah, updates! :)

Sooo...
Right now, I'm in Des Moines spending the week (most of it anyways) with my sister-in-law & my mommy. Carissa wanted us to come up and spend some time with her while Mike (my oldest brother) is in Kansas City for work. So, we've been chillin' out up here with her & Alex (their boy, who is 2). Today we went with her to her Dr.'s appointment 'cause she's pregnant again and they were supposed to find out if it;s a boy or a girl. Unfortunately the baby was being stubborn today so we don't know for sure. They did however get a perfect shot of it from the bottom of the feet, straight up... and after that the sonographer kept saying 'she' but I guess they don't want to say unless they;re 100%. Oh well, just another month until they know. :)

Backtracking to Sunday we went to Carissa's mom & dad's for Easter dinner. It was pretty nice, awesome food. :3 om nom nom. Got to see Shayna (my niece, Mike's oldest) for the first time in a month or so. Lordie is she turning more & more into a teenager everytime I see her. >.> And not the fun, older teenagers the ones who think they're kicky-cool because they now have a locker in school & have passing time between classes and they have 'real boyfriends/girlfriends' because they can text each other. I hope she grows outta that quickly and develops interests other than her fuckin' cell phone soon. Oh! And Jake made a joke about her liking the Jonas brothers and her reply was: "*gasp* Like, figure out what bands I like before you make jokes like that. Gosh." Srsly? /wrists. And I had hope for her at once.

Also, I am maybe a wee bit addicted to muh Pokemon Pearl game again. Maybe. Just... a little.

Oh! And today, after we went to Carissa's Dr.'s visit, we went to eat at Palmer's Deli. O.M.G. I loved it :3 So many good noms! And carrot cake! /drool. Too bad it cost $21 for just my mom & I to eat. Srsly.

We got together 10/06/06. Best day... ever? Yeah, ever. I love him more than anything else in the world.
Now, I've been living with him since October and it's been amazing. There's been some rough spots in these 6 months, but we've been fine. And I know we'll continue to be fine. Because we have each other & we know what the other one wants (in the long haul that is).

Today I don't get to see him much, he has school until 3p, then work from 5p-10p. But that's ok. We got to spend almost the entire weekend together with just the two of us. :3

Guess I'll hop on WoW & do... something. Heh. Maybe muh new frand will be online & we can squee about romance for a few hours.

We can make it if we try, just the two of us!~~~

Annnnyways, lol. Last night Jake & I got the house all to our selves. ;) It was full of win. We ended up staying up until around 2am. Before that John & Katie had been over, which was nice. They got to see the place & meet our puppy. :3

Then today we got up around... oh, 1pm. We went & had Arby's & went grocery shopping. We finally has food again! :D Then we stopped at Target & picked up season six of Dragonball Z. So we're sitting on the couch watching it until raid. Unfortunately Devan showed back up. QQ Oh well, we can just ignore him like usual. :P

Oh, & in case anyone cares I has a Twitter nao. Linkage. Check it out. Not too interesting but I'll try and do someting with it. :P

I'm dinkin' around with my journal, tryin' to make it more... kawaii. :3 But I was wondering how hard it is for other people to read. 'Cause some of it is a bit difficult & I kinda hate myself for not having photoshop anymore to figure out muh colors for shit like this. Anyways, feedback appreciated on the coloring & font size & all that jazz. Thanks, lovelies.

 I love having another girl to chit-chat with. :3 Tonight in raid most of my time was spent talking to Fox about... whatever. lol. It made a night of 10man Naxx much more worth it. Also helps that I got phat lootz.

The legplates got me my oh-so-sexy 2set & the Egg is from badges. I was gonna save up for my gloves, but for now I like those Handgrips a bit more. Just me. :P 

So, in the real world today it was slightly less exciting. I cleaned, which needed to be done & still isn't finished. I did get cans picked up & and got a lot of trash picked up. Cleaned the fridge out some, still have a bit left in there. Then I went & got muh hair cut. When I got there it just so happened that my mom was in getting her hair cut too, so she ended up paying for mine (score!). Then Abby & I ran some errands & got some foodage. (Yay for 50% off at Arby's :D)

My boycott of caffeine is still goin' rather well. I only really drink it if I go out to eat. It helps to keep my headaches from getting too bad. :) 

Also, yesterday the principal called and left me a voicemail saying I had been pulled from the Alternative program at IHCC. I called him today  & he told me he would re-enroll me at the end of May. He was just taking me out because I totally dropped the ball and hadn't shown my face there since... about Valentine's Day. >.> I can't blame him and am glad he's still willing to give me another chance. So it looks like I get my 'summer break' from now until the end of May. I can dig it. :3

So, anyways, I should probably get to bed. I have to help Jake get up earlier than usual tomorrow. He has to be at work by 8am. Blargh. :( And I have to get up reasonably early (so noonish at the latest) to finish cleaning before John & Katie show up. :)

Wow. I am so tired, I can't even sleep. Yesterday I got up at 8am. I got online, did my Hodir dailies on Lhanii. Sat & stared at my The Turning Tide for a few minute. Logged Lynnette, set her up with a shiny new UI. (Yay for xperl being a healers best friend!). Then I ran... instances!

H-VH, H-COS, H-VH (again. True story), H-AN, H-VoA, VoA, H-Nex, H-UK, H-HoL, H-Naxx.
And, it was a Naxx PuG that actually went well. They got 2/3 in Arachnid before I joined. Finished it up, blew through Plague & got up to Gluth in Construct. I'm super excited for how well it went.

Also last night I may or may not have spent ~700g on new gear & enchants for Lynnette. >.> In my opinion though, it has all been worth it. :d She is down to having all epix except chest, gloves, 1 ring & her 2 trinkets. Not too shabby for my alt's offspec. n.n

Oh! & because I'm super EXCITED &( maybe like to brag a little...  )

I still think that Pierre Bouvier is the prettiest damn thing ever. <3

So, Jake & I went & saw Knowing today. :D First time in... forever or so we've been to a movie. It was pretty much awesome. Not just because I love Nicolas Cage, but because it was just win. Great movie. Had you on the edge of your seat during all the disaster scenes. It made you want to cry at the end. It makes you wonder what is possible, what someone can really predict. It melded the proven & the unprovable together into one lovely creation. And it ended in a place that looks a lot like Nagrand?

Anyways, tonight we did 25man Naxx. I got purplez!! :P I finally got my hands on Shroud of Luminosity, then 2 Haunting Calls dropped tonight (I got the second. :3). Finally we got the Surplus Limb from Gluth. :D Also, after raid I got to talking to our other usual mage, Tonyromeo, & he gave me a heads up on some 3.1 changes (I get to steal more gear from our warlocks!) . He also gave me the idea of taking up Jewelcrafting along with my Enchanting (by dropping tailoring) to up my spellpower. I had thought about it before but only for a minute or so before laughing. But now it doesn't seem so bad. Anyone have any opinion on it?

I feel kinda goofy sayin' it, but I am totally maybe excited to see how Dragonball Evolution turns out. Not just because the guy they got for Goku is pretty. Om nom nom. lol. I just wish that Piccolo didn't look so damn silly. Kinda reminds me of the big bad purple guy from the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers... I totally feel like I'm 6 again. Guh.

Guess I should log on WoW for 25mans. Woo?

Other mages make me sad. I just went for a full out FFB & even though I am still learnin' the rotation for it, I want moar damage. I have the gear, the spec & not the damage. QQ.

Anyways, back to WoW. Gotsa try to gear Jacob's newly 80 hunter, Milus. ; )
